In this section you will find a selection of odd words, peculiar words, bizarre words, or quirky expressions that appeal to my sense of humour. And if they are not weird and wacky, maybe they are just wonderful words that sound really good. Words such as, to give an example in English, cantankerous: that’s a great word!
I choose them at random, purely on a whim, while flicking through the pages of the dictionaries in my five Romance languages.
